Daniel Ullyett is 2023 BKA Champion Driver

Daniel Ullyett is the Sectus Technologies Barbados Karting Association’s (BKA) 2023 Champion Driver, adding a third overall title to those he won in 2020 and ’21 and a first in the 100cc Easykart Juniors class. The final round on November 5 which was lost to bad weather has not been re-scheduled, so the Sectus Technologies Championship points have been declared after the six rounds run between March and October.

Maloney, Thompson and Ullyett fight for BKA title

Reigning Champion Driver Calem Maloney claimed a maximum 100 points for the third time this season at Sunday’s (October 1) Barbados Karting Association (BKA) Glassesco Raceday at Bushy Park Barbados. In doing so, he drew level with Blake Thompson who has slipped to second after leading since round three, as former double Champion Daniel Ullyett became the fourth different leader of the Sectus Technologies Championship this year. Just 14 points are spread across the three, with the final round on November 5.

BKA racers back in action after six-week break

Blake Thompson and Daniel Ullyett will renew their battle for the Sectus Technologies Barbados Karting Association (BKA) Championship on Sunday (August 13) when the BKA returns to Bushy Park Barbados after a six-week break. Just five points separate leader Thompson from two-time Champion Driver Ullyett ahead of the season’s fourth Raceday, sponsored by ?????.

TenPow and Thompson BMF Winter Cup Champions

Guyana’s Justin TenPow and local racer Mark Thompson emerged winners of the Barbados Motoring Federation’s (BMF) Winter Cup for Cadets and Masters respectively. The six-race competition ran alongside the second and third rounds of the inaugural Caribbean Junior Karting Academy Trophy (CJKAT) at Bushy Park Barbados.
