Caribbean Junior Karting series returns at Bushy Park

Rising young stars from across the region will enjoy a chance to shine when the second Caribbean Junior Karting Academy Trophy (CJKAT) is staged later this year (November 4-6). Administered by the Barbados Motoring Federation (BMF) in association with Bushy Park Circuit Inc (BPCI), it follows the successful running of the inaugural event in 2019 after which subsequent editions were affected by the pandemic.

Barbados Motoring Federation releases 2022 calendar

Nearly 50 events planned by the Barbados Motoring Federation’s (BMF) sporting Member Clubs are listed on the provisional 2022 calendar published today (January 8). In the last two seasons the number of events run under BMF permits has been reduced by 50 per cent or more with cancellations caused by the coronavirus pandemic, so the motor sport community is hoping that the effects of Covid-19 will start to abate.

Revised dates, web site from Barbados Motoring Federation

The Barbados Motoring Federation (BMF) has today (May 12) published a provisional calendar for the rest of 2021 to allow competitors time to prepare, while discussions continue with Government bodies to clarify when spectators might return. Having made practical use of the down time caused by the Covid 19 pandemic, the Federation has developed a new web site, which is also launched today.
