Iconic Historic Formula 1 cars for Top Gear Festival

The Top Gear Festival Barbados just keeps on getting better and better! Announced today on the official Top Gear Festival Barbados Facebook page, the festival will feature two iconic Formula 1 cars - the 1984 Toleman (having been driven by Ayrton Senna) and the 1989 Camel Lotus Judd.

The Toleman, powered by a turbo-charged Hart 415T engine, produced around 600bhp and is famous for the race at Monaco where rookie Senna passed Alain Prost in the rain, only for the race to be red flagged and the positions to be moved back a lap - helping to set the scene for one of the most famous rivalries in motorsport, ever.

The 1989 Camel Lotus Judd, the Lotus 101, driven by Nelson Piquet and Nakajima was powered by the legendary Judd V8 engine - a noise that will sound glorious around the newly redeveloped Bushy Park Race Circuit in May.

We can't wait!
