Floodlit head-to-head start for BCIC RB26 at Bushy Park

An adrenaline-pumping evening under floodlights at the spectacular Riddara SuperSpecial on the Race Of Champions course at Bushy Park Barbados in St Philip tomorrow evening (Friday) will raise the curtain on BCIC Rally Barbados (May 29-31).

Nearly 100 overseas drivers and co-drivers are listed in the running order of 116 cars for the 36th edition of the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) premier event, published at last evening’s (Wednesday) Briefing Meeting at the Hilton Barbados Resort, Bridgetown.

Cunningham, Bates win First Citizens King of the Hill

Joe Cunningham and Kari Bates in a Ford Fiesta WRC won First Citizens King of the Hill (KotH) on Sunday (May 24), the final shakedown before next weekend’s BCIC Rally Barbados (May 29-31). First GR Yaris Rally2 for BMF Championship

The arrival on Tuesday (May 12) of a brand-new GR Yaris Rally2 to be driven in BCIC Rally Barbados (May 29-31) by Roger Hill, boss of island Toyota dealer Nassco, means the Barbados Rally2 Championship will play host to examples of all six volume manufacturer R5 and Rally2 cars for the first time. Hill tested the car today (May 16) at Bushy Park Barbados for the first time.

Volunteers keep the dockside wheels turning

The Barbados Rally Club (BRC) has lauded volunteers in the UK and in the island for their vital help in loading and off-loading a record single shipment of 38 rally cars ahead of its premier event, BCIC Rally Barbados 2026. The Geest Line freighter CS Quality landed at the Bridgetown Port on Tuesday morning after its nine-day voyage across the Atlantic.
