Panton wins his second Barbados Rally2 title

Jamaica’s Jeff Panton is the 2025 Barbados Rally2 Champion, adding a second title to that of 2023. Despite the best efforts of his fellow-countryman Kyle Gregg with victory in last Sunday’s (October 26) final two rounds, Panton won by a margin of two points, the closest finish in the championship’s four seasons, with Britain’s Rob Swann third.

MudDogs set for Chefette Championship finale

Crews are making ready for the final round of the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) Chefette MudDogs Safari Championship on Sunday (November 2). With one final challenge of around 120 kilometres and dropped scores yet to be taken into account, there is still much to settle in the Coastal Lubricants November Safari.

Gregg wins Winter Rally; Corbin Champion-elect

Jamaica’s Kyle Gregg prevailed in a hard-fought three-way battle for last Sunday’s (October 26) BRC Winter Rally, run in blisteringly hot conditions in the north of the island. He defeated early leader Josh Read by just under six seconds, with Dane Skeete third a further 10secs back after a stall dropped him out of contention for the win.

Rally Club Championship decider this Sunday

Jamaica’s Kyle Gregg and co-driver Kreigg Yearwood lead the field of 45 cars entered for Sunday’s (October 26) BRC Winter Rally in the Ford Fiesta Rally2 in which they won BCIC Rally Barbados 2025. With its usual enhanced points structure and each driver’s lowest score to be dropped, the deciding round of the Barbados Rally Club (BRC) Driver’s and Class Championships promises island fans an action-packed day to remember.

Double-header to settle BMF Rally2 Championship

Nine testing special stages in the north of the island on Sunday (October 26) will settle the Barbados Motoring Federation’s (BMF) 2025 Rally2 Championship in a high-scoring double-header final. Jamaicans Jeff Panton, Kyle Gregg and Britain’s Rob Swann head a healthy multi-national entry list of 10 cars as they fight for the title.

All to play for as BKA season nears the end

With two scheduled rounds remaining, there is still all to play for in the 2025 Sectus Technologies Barbados Karting Association (BKA) Championship. Round six of seven will run off at Bushy Park Barbados on Sunday (October 19), with the final four weeks later.

  There’s a maximum of 200 points still on the board if a driver can complete a clean sweep of four race wins each time out, something achieved twice this year by Calem Maloney, who leads the Easykart 125cc class, also the overall standings, with 17 wins in 20 races to his credit.

Champion returns for Caterham Caribbean Cup

James Emson, one of three category Champions at the inaugural Caterham Caribbean Cup two years ago, is among drivers confirmed for CCC25 at Bushy Park Barbados in December. After Caterham Motorsport’s UK season ended at Silverstone over the first weekend of this month (October 4/5), teams turned their attention to preparing cars for shipping across the Atlantic.

Positive reaction as MudDogs “level the playing field”

Multiple Champion Leslie Alleyne has applauded moves to update the methods of setting navigational rallies pioneered in last Sunday’s (October 8) Savvy on the Bay October Safari. With navigator Chris O’Neal, Alleyne overcame the opposition - and the weather - to claim their third win in the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) 2025 Chefette MudDogs Safari Championship.

Maloney & Matthews win Bushy Park Kart Enduro

Calem Maloney and Darren Matthews won the island’s first-ever ‘Arrive & Drive’ Karting Enduro at Bushy Park on Saturday (September 27). After 109 laps, six changes of lead and two-and-a-half hours of racing, they crossed the just 45 seconds ahead of Mark Thompson and his nephew Blake in the Cole Clarke Racing (CCR) Three Hours.

Podium places for female racers at Bushy Park

Two female racers stood on the end-of-day podiums for the first time at Sunday’s (September 21) fifth round of the Barbados Karting Association’s (BKA) Sectus Technologies Championship. Hailey Brathwaite and Ava Mayers were the third-placed points-scorers in their respective classes.
