  Spectators turned out in their hundreds for the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) return to the Black Bess Plantation, St Peter, on Sunday (October 2). Trevor Manning headed the time sheets after the BRC Autumn Gravel Sprint, where driver and spectator enjoyment was the keynote the day.   Gathered high on an escarpment created as a focal point of the proposed development, spectators enjoyed a panoramic view of the three-kilometre course, which provided action aplenty.

Two of the island’s most flamboyant and popular drivers will be seen in action for the first time in nearly two years when the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) Autumn Gravel Sprint runs off at the Black Bess Plantation, St Peter, on Sunday (October 2). The entry list published today confirms rumours of a comeback for Trevor ‘Micey’ Manning, while Jonathan Still is a surprise addition, driving one of his former BMWs.

Nearly 200 International competitors can benefit from the incentive programme on offer from the Barbados Rally Club (BRC) for next year’s running of the Caribbean’s biggest annual motor sport international, Sol Rally Barbados.
