Test of skill and endurance ahead in Chefette June Safari

The Barbados Rally Club (BRC) will mark its 66th Anniversary this weekend (June 24/25) with a 16-hour overnight test of skill and endurance. The Chefette June Safari salutes the Club’s roots in navigational rallying, which began in 1957 with ‘The June’, as it is fondly known, the longest-established motor sport event in the region with a continuous history, interrupted only by the pandemic in 2021.

Crews happy to be back in action after long wait

Competitors in the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) Chefette MudDogs Safari Championship finally headed back off-road at the weekend (July 25/26) after a nine-month wait . . . and a new name was added to the Roll of Honour of the Club’s longest-running event, fondly known as ‘The June’. Although the coronavirus pandemic pushed it back into July, the Shelbury Construction Summer Safari still represented the 64th running of the Club’s founding event.
