Skeete and Mayhew win First Citizens King of the Hill

Dane Skeete and Tyler Mayhew in their Subaru Impreza WRC S12 won First Citizens King of the Hill (KotH) on Sunday (May 26), the final shakedown before next weekend’s BCIC Rally Barbados (May 31-June 2). Stuart Maloney lays down marker for BCIC RB24

Stuart Maloney started his preparations for BCIC Rally Barbados (May 31-June 2) in determined fashion with victory on Sunday’s (April 28) BRC Shakedown Stages. Island fans turned out in their numbers for the first closed-road rally of the season, enjoying some first-class action in the second of two back-to-back rounds of the Barbados Rally Club Driver’s & Class Championships, although a high attrition rate left only 37 official finishers from the 61 starters.

Mayers ready to lead 2wd charge for Rally Barbados

Twenty-five years after his first class win on the island’s premier event, reigning Barbados Rally Club (BRC) 2wd Champion Roger Mayers is gearing up to take the fight to all-comers in Rally Barbados 2024 (May 31-June 2). He finished eighth overall last year in his Toyota WR Starlet, equally splitting the 4wd cars that packed the top 15 but has no intention of returning to all-wheel drive to claim a second outright win.
