Largest Entry Ever for Launch Control 3

The Barbados Association of Dragsters and Drifters resumes the 2017 drag race season on August 20 with Launch Control 3.  The event will be one-eighth mile drag racing held at Bushy Park Circuit.  Practice begins at 1:00 PM, followed by Qualifying at 2:30 PM and culminating with Eliminations and Grudges from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The event has attracted the largest field ever - 49, with a mix of categories – Front, rear and four wheel drive, naturally aspirated, turbo and nitrous, and even electric powered cars.  Round 2 class winners Andre Walcott, Nicholas Pinto, Devon Holder, Kevin Griffith, Sean Eversley, Reco Barrow, Robert Bishop and Corey Stanford have all taken advantage of free entry into Round 3.

Sunday August 13 was a practice event, which also attracted the most registrants ever, and has translated into some newcomers for the August 20 event.

Admission on August 20 is $20 for grounds, $25 per vehicle & $20 per person for the 4x4 zone, and $30 for race control premium.  Children under 12 are free.
